What the hell...

Ok it's freakin Monday and this is already a shitty week, sorry but there is no other word so cover your eyes if you don't like it (j/k)...
Well since we live in Ogden, the "armpit" of Utah, our main water pipe broke. Don't worry... it only took 3 days to fix. It's cool, I just smell and look like someone needs to point me to the soup kitchen but it's cool. Good news though the water ran mud for about an hour once it finally came on and then it clogged up our tube. Or so we thought... lets just leave it at that.
So thats good...
This morning I got high-centered in some snow... don't worry it wasn't snowing yet, I am just that professional at driving. The snow from the oning over my car slide off creating a 3 foot wide 1.5 feet high edge at the end of my spot. I mean HELLO it wasn't snowing so why would I check behind my car.... honestly! So I had to wake Jeff up, he was thrilled... just kidding he was very nice to me about it. Well so the two us (Jeff in his P.J.'s) start digging me out and losing the snow under my car... when I spot that I have a flat tire on the back right side. (At this point I am 45 minutes late for work) So once we finally find where my spar is and get it out of the car the lug-nuts are a joke... Chevy was pretty serious about keeping those babies on... Jeff was JUMPING on the wrench-thingy to get them off. Ok at this point between the two of us, we could have made sailors blush with our language and I am laughing so hard because I felt like I was being punk'd. We call down to Howe's and I go down to get a different wrench-dealy and come back, so that thing worked but now Jeff can't get the 1 lb. Jack to stay under the car (20 minutes later) finally the jack works and then we change the tire and I can almost be to work... RIGHT! I am high centered on ice, thanks. So need less to say Jeff had to take me to work and the guys from work came back and towed it out and dug around it put it back in my spot... it's cool I am pretty professional because I was 2 hours late for work...
Wow this is long, sorry... our new couch its pretty much awesome! Pictures to come... I can't seem to bring the pictures up on our computer... figures.
Also I meet with the surgeon tomorrow in the A.M., wish me luck...

Ok, now I know everyone read this for a daily laugh because lets be honest I am pretty funny ok, but let's be serious for a minute... I am not an active church member but I was deeply saddened by Gordon B. Hinkley's passing. He was a great, open minded man that will be missed and not soon forgotten. He has been the prophet for half of my life... and I always looked forward to the day of G.B.H. on my books at the salon (Family joke)... In a world that is so chaotic and corrupt he seemed to bring things to reality... not just in a spiritual sense but whenever he spoke he seemed genuine and real no Bull Sh*t.

And as for someone that is finding herself in this crazy mixed up world, whether it be through blogs, tattoo's, dancing, church or work, I always appreciated his "realness" and not trying to fight who he was or what he believed in. As someone who prides herself on honesty, I try to be that way.. it's not always agreed with but I know deep down people really appreciate that I don't bet around the bush, I don't want anyone to have to second guess what I thought or feel... so that's why when I vent you know its the truth because I don't hide myself, and maybe that's why you find yourself reading this. So thank you to the people in my life for letting me be me and taking me as I am... Tattoo's and Vegas lovin' and all...

Katch, I really am sad you never got to meet Pres. Hinckley. I do know that when he sees the outpouring of love at his passing, sweet messages like yours will touch him so much. No matter how tough you might try to appear, I know you have the heart of an angel.

Oh Katch! You are too cute! I'm sorry you had all of that drama yesterday! Monday's are hard enough without having to deal with all of that! And I guess instead of GBH on your books you'll just have to start looking for TSM instead! :)

Sorry to hear you had so many problems yesterday - sometimes life is hard. It is nice Jeff was still at home to help and take you to work and your coworkers are so willing to help you out. Nice sentiments on GBH - I still think he was the one that left you the Christmas present when you weren't home.

Wow! It sounds like the no good, very bad day (or week rather :). I'm glad it all got sorted out though. I find that sometimes when things just seem like they can't get any worse, all I can do is have a giggle fit. (Eric would be the first to attest to this.) Love you sis!
